Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting the AEGIS bot to your Discord Server (Guild), you represent and warrant that you are the Server Owner or possess explicit administrative authorization to deploy security tools on the server. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and third-party terms, specifically including the Discord Terms of Service.
2. Service Provision & Reliability
We strive to ensure the Services are highly available (target uptime of 99.99%). However, AEGIS is an AI-driven behavioral analysis tool. While our engine is highly accurate, we do not guarantee that the Services will prevent 100% of attacks, nor do we guarantee zero false positives.
No Liability for Server Damage
AEGIS is not liable for any channels deleted, members banned, or data lost during a raid, whether the bot successfully mitigated the raid or failed to do so.
Auto-Recovery Limitations
Our Auto-Recovery feature relies on cached Discord states. It is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee full structural recovery of your server in all catastrophic events.
3. Data Collection, Database Storage, and Privacy
In order to train our localized AI models and establish baseline behavior for your specific server, AEGIS collects and processes Discord events (such as Message Creates, Channel Deletes, Member Updates).
By using our Services, you consent to our storage of strictly necessary metadata in our databases (SQLite/PostgreSQL), which includes Discord User IDs (for admin panels and web verification), Server IDs, security action logs, and server structural snapshots (for disaster recovery).
We do not save or read the plaintext content of standard text messages persistently in our database, nor do we sell user data to third parties. All event processing is strictly utilized for the purpose of anomaly detection and security scoring. For an exact list of what is stored in our database, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
AEGIS operates on a freemium model. Premium tiers (Pro, Enterprise) require a recurring subscription fee.
- Billing Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Cancellation You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Refunds We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for initial purchases. Renewals are generally non-refundable unless there was a billing error on our end.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass the AEGIS AI decision engine.
- Using AEGIS on servers that violate Discord's Community Guidelines (e.g., servers distributing malware, CSAM, or promoting violence). We reserve the right to immediately terminate service to any such server without a refund.
- Conducting unauthorized penetration testing outside the scope of our official Bug Bounty program.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEGIS AND ITS FOUNDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE, OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect via an announcement in our official Discord server or via email. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
